Time is money and the FCP Online Ordering System will save your company a lot of both. Online editing, proofing and ordering is quick and easy, as is tracking orders and re-ordering.
Online ordering can reduce a company’s traditional expenditure on printed items by up to 40%.
How? Taking Business Cards as an example – the designer only has to design one business card and upload it into a template wizard on the FCP Online system. Users can then access the system, fill in their own details, proof a design and make an order in less time than it would take to contact a designer to organise a new card - the system does all the hard work for you.

Ordering Process
Simple is best. The FCP Online system is specifically designed to be simple to use, inspiring confidence in even the most techno phobic users.
The system’s main objective is to replicate the traditional order process in an online browser based environment. This allows any authorised user with a browser and internet access to edit and order printing themselves.
The system is hosted and managed centrally on a dedicated server, allowing you to control what authorised users can see and order.
Through designated stages of production the system will generate emails to keep the user informed of the job progress
The FCP Online e-procurement solution offers corporate managers and print buyers total transparency and control over the order/supply process.
PDF Template Wizards
One of the system’s greatest strengths is in an array of automated online editing tools. These allow untrained users to easily edit and create print-ready PDF documents in seconds. These can range from simple business cards to intricately designed multi-page brochures - work which can be strictly controlled to ensure adherence to a corporate identity.

Online Proofing
FCP Online’s Ordering System uses a Design Once Order Many (DOOM) strategy whereby the design is uploaded into the system only once. Employees following strict design controls can edit and order the template with their own information. This only takes us minutes to set up and can be rolled out to millions of users.
The system then creates ‘pre-proofed, print-ready artwork’ that can go straight on the press within minutes. It’s simple!
Transparent Order Management
The “at a glance” management screens allow managers to see who is ordering what and when. This makes planning and allocating for an annual budget much easier.
FCP systems can even create reports of ordering trends according to criteria which managers can set.
Job Tracking
Department or Main “Approvers” can also see and keep track of all jobs going through the system while users can track jobs relevant to them in an order management environment, making it easy to see what’s going on and saves wasting your time by not needing to call your printer.
Users can see at a glance where their order is in the supply chain. Emails will notify them when certain events occur, such as when their job has been approved or despatched.
Stock Control
For non editable items, holding stock is a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which allows planning and the reduction of cost over time.
This allows us to offer you bulk run pricing for small order quantities.
FCP systems let users make orders against stock levels and will automatically alert a pre-defined user or manager when levels are low so that a replenishment order can be made.
The stock holding KPI allows us to be far more efficient in the production process keeping costs to a minimum. Due to usage pay strategy your business units are only paying for what they use, giving you maximum budgetary control. This allows maximum Key Performance Indicator control - Set and Forget.
